What Does this liver Function Test Result Mean?
iam an alcoholic. my lft results are serum bilirubin (total) 0.8 mg/dl, direct - 0.3 mg/dl, sgot 36 iu/l, sgpt 41 iu/l, alkaline phosphates 229 u/l. I am facing slighly heavy feeling in stomach, and a slight pain in upper abdomanal. please advise me. i have been advied with GANATON OD capsules one per a day.

Dear friend, Greetings from HCM... i appreciate your question... your LFT is with in normal limits and you need not worry... please note that GANATON is a prokinetic prescribed for gut motility problems ... you r having slight GORD ... need not worry .. you avoid coffee /tea/ alcohol/ smoking ... eat small and frequent meals .. please avoid spicy and too hot dishes ... if you are over weight please reduce ... stop worrying you will be alright in a week ... take care and do contact us for more queries... thank yoi
